Episode 176: The Magnificent Seven Review

No spoilers this week, instead we discuss how the new film stacks up on it’s own, how it compares to the John Sturges original ,Fawn over Chris Pratt and puzzle over where exactly Yul Brynner was from, in the movie and real life.

Podcast 175: Malaysian Movie Pekak

On our latest podcast Iain and Gavin take a look at local Malaysian movie Pekak, directed by Mohd Khairul Azri Md Noor and starring Zahiril Adzim, Sharifah Amani, Sharifah Sakinah, Iedil Putra, Amerul Affendi, Zaidi Omar, Joe Flizzow and Chew Kin Wah.
A sort of  modern Romero and Juliet involving young love, drugs and a deaf courier, shot in and around KL ( including the back of Iain’s apartment) Pekak is now showing at Malaysian cinemas.
